Give a brief description of the story.
Bad boy Quinn Rowland is a love ‘em and break ‘em kind of guy. He and his brother Sebastian have a sick and twisted game betting on Quinn’s ability to make a girl fall for him within a week’s time. But Emilie Swanson tips Quinn’s game on its head when she literally stumbles into him. The tables are turned and it’s suddenly Quinn’s heart at risk.
What did you think the author did particularly well?
Ms. Payne does a wonderful job of taking a seemingly unredeemable hero and making the reader sympathetic to his plight. Ms. Payne is also a master of words. BROKEN AT LOVE is an exceptionally well written book. The sex scenes in this book are hot, but not overly descriptive. BROKEN AT LOVE is a fun, light read.
What was your favorite thing about the story?
I loved that Emilie was a strong girl with experience. She went into her relationship with Quinn with her eyes wide open to who he was.
Fans of Gossip Girl or the movie Cruel Intentions might enjoy this story.
