The authors managed to work lessons about sharing and friendship into the story without preaching at children or sounding overbearing.
What was your favorite thing about the story?
The authors introduced words that are probably ahead of the age group’s normal vocabulary and included a glossary of those words at the end of the book. The authors also included a simple experiment, based on the story that explains the concept of buoyancy.
If you read Trixie Beldon or Brains Benton mysteries when you were a kid, then you might want to read this book to your own child.
